Her Royal Highness, The Countess of Wessex has been elected as 79th President of the New Forest Agricultural Show Society at their Annual General Meeting. The meeting took place at the Balmer Lawn Hotel in Brockenhurst on Wednesday 24th February. The election of Her Royal Highness as President of the New Forest Agricultural Show Society follows a previous visit to the Show by The Earl and Countess of Wessex in 2013. New Forest Agricultural Show Society Supports National Tree Week

  National Tree week which started on 28th November 2015 is an annual event, first launched in 1975. It is the UK’s largest tree celebration which marks the start of the winter tree planting season. In support of national tree week, five new Oak trees will be planted in different locations at New Park, Brockenhurst, home to the New Forest and Hampshire County Show.
