Accessibility and Inclusion - New Forest Show

The New Forest and Hampshire County Show takes pride in welcoming people with disabilities. Everyone deserves the chance to enjoy all that The Show has to offer, and we are here to support you in any way we can.

One the gate:

Essential Carer tickets will also be available on-the-gate during Show days. Once again, a ticket for the Show visitor(s) must be purchased first, then the relevant documentation presented to qualify for the Carer  Ticket.

Disabled Parking

As you enter the park, please ensure you have your Blue Badge parking permit visible on your windscreen so that parking wardens can direct you to the disabled car park.

Wristbands

If I’m Lost – Look Inside

Wristbands are available at the Main Entrances. Simply write your lost contact details, medical conditions and/or allergies on the inside of the wristband. If separated, staff members can use the wristbands to bring you back together.

Scooter Hire & Getting Around

Mobility Scooters can be hired direct with the Wheels for Freedom company and need to be reserved before the Show.

Bookings can be made online at www.wheelsforfreedom.org.uk at a cost of £30 per day.

Once booked they will be available  between 8am and 6:30pm

The Showground is accessed from the Disabled Car Park along a grass walkway to the Pedestrian Entrance opposite.

The site is mainly grass, with hardcore internal pedestrian avenues.

Guide Dogs

The Show is dog friendly and many of our visitors bring their canine companions along. This of course extends to Guide dogs, who are very welcome on site.

Disabled Toilet Facilities

Each toilet block on the showground has a dedicated disabled toilet.

We also have a specialised Mobiloo facility on site for changing.

Quiet Place & Picnic Area

Off to the side of the Showground is the Woodland picnic site. The Show can be very lively, so this provides a quiet place to relax if you find yourself getting overwhelmed.
