The New Forest Show – officially the New Forest & Hampshire County Show – is one of the South of England’s largest agricultural shows, held every July at New Park, Brockenhurst, in the heart of the New Forest National Park. Over three days, more than 85,000 visitors come together to celebrate farming, food, equestrianism, countryside crafts and rural life – a tradition that stretches back over a century.

If you’re planning your first visit or simply curious about what makes the Show so special, here’s everything you need to know.

When and Where Is the New Forest Show Held?

The Show takes place over three days each July at The Showground, New Park, Brockenhurst, Hampshire, SO42 7QH – right in the heart of the New Forest National Park. The showground is easy to reach by car or train, with Brockenhurst station nearby and parking on site. For travel details, visit our Getting Here page.

Who Organises the New Forest Show?

The Show is organised by the New Forest Agricultural Show Society, a registered charity founded in 1920. For over 100 years, the Society has promoted agriculture, horticulture, forestry, equestrianism and rural crafts – and every ticket sold helps fund its charitable work, from Schools Education Days and tree planting through the Mini Forests project, to bursaries supporting young people pursuing careers in agriculture.
