Competition classes
Eight competition areas across the three days, for amateurs and professionals alike.
Equine
More than 2,500 horses and riders compete in over 50 prestigious qualifying classes across the three days.
Floral Art
Colourful displays across all three days, celebrating creativity, skill and traditional craft.
Art Pavilion
Professional and amateur artists come together to display their work at the Show.
Blacksmiths
Wrought-iron skills against the clock, with static and live classes for amateurs and professionals.
Honey & Bees
Run by the New Forest Beekeepers Association, with classes for beekeepers from across the area.
Vegetables
A Show staple: your chance to put your prize vegetables up against some of the very best.
Women's Institute
The WI has exhibited at every single Show since 1920, with a wide variety of classes.

Entering the competitions
How do I enter a competition at the New Forest Show?
Schedules and entry details for 2027 will be published on this page closer to the Show. Livestock entrants can already find information on the cattle and sheep pages.
What competitions can I enter?
Equine, livestock (cattle and sheep), floral art, the Art Pavilion, blacksmiths, honey & bees, vegetables and the Women's Institute classes, across all three days.
Where can I download the competition schedule?

How many classes are there?
The equine competitions alone feature 50+ qualifying classes with over 2,500 horses and riders, alongside many more across livestock, floral art, vegetables, honey, art and the WI.
When is the entry closing date?
