New Forest Show FAQs

The New Forest & Hampshire County Show returns on Tuesday 27, Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 July 2027 at New Park, Brockenhurst, Hampshire.

The Show opens at 8am and closes at 6.30pm each day. The car park opens from 6.30am, so you can arrive early and beat the queues.

Yes — the New Forest Show is an outdoor event that goes ahead in all weather. The ground is mainly grass, so we’d recommend suitable footwear and clothing for the forecast.

Tickets can be bought online via the red Buy Tickets button, or on the gate on Show days. Booking online in advance is quickest and often best value.

Yes. Buy a ticket for the disabled visitor, add an Essential Companion ticket to your basket, then upload your supporting documentation (such as PIP). Once approved, both tickets can be downloaded. See our Accessibility & Inclusion page for full details.

Yes! Show guides are sold at kiosks at the entrances and across the Showground on Show days. You can also pre-pay for one when you book online and redeem the voucher at any kiosk on arrival.

Yes — if you need to return to your car or leave and come back, please keep your ticket or wristband and speak to a steward on your way out.

Most kiosks, bars and traders accept card and contactless payments. We’d still recommend carrying some cash, as a few smaller stalls may be cash-only.

Yes — parking is free and plentiful in the car park next to the Showground, open from 6.30am. We encourage car-sharing where possible to ease the local roads.

Yes. As you enter New Park, display your Blue Badge on the windscreen and you’ll be directed to the accessible car park.

Mobility scooters and wheelchairs can be pre-booked through Advanced Mobility — £35 per day for scooters and £15 per day for wheelchairs. Call 01274 297777 with any questions.

Yes — dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. They’re not allowed in the livestock tents (clearly signed), and banned breeds are not permitted on the showground. Assistance dogs are welcome throughout.

Yes — you’re welcome to bring a picnic. There’s also a huge range of food and drink to buy across the Showground if you’d rather travel light.

Yes — prams and pushchairs are welcome. The Showground is mainly grass with firmer pedestrian avenues, so an all-terrain buggy is easiest.

Yes! Mobile caterers across the Showground serve everything from fresh fish and chips, hog roasts and beef carveries to vegetarian, vegan and international dishes. There’s also the local produce area, food hall and the Garden Refreshment Area in the Flower & Gardening Show.

Yes — there are water points all around the Showground where you can refill your bottle for free.

Yes — first aid facilities are available on site throughout the Show. Ask any steward or head to an information point if you need help.

Yes — please report lost property or a lost child to the nearest steward or information point. We also offer free wristbands where you can write your contact details, so families can be reunited quickly.
