New Forest Show Accessibility & Inclusion

Everyone is welcome at the Show

We want every visitor to enjoy their day, whatever their needs. Here’s how we’ll help you plan a comfortable, welcoming visit.

Everyone is welcome

Access shouldn’t be an afterthought

The New Forest & Hampshire County Show takes real pride in welcoming people of all abilities. Whether you need step-free routes, mobility hire, a companion by your side or a quiet moment away from the crowds, everything you need to plan your day is right here.

Tickets

Essential Companion tickets

If you need someone with you to enjoy the Show, they can come free of charge with a valid Essential Companion ticket.

How to book in advance

Add a companion when you buy online — approved before the day, so you’re all set.

  1. Go to Buy Tickets and buy a ticket for the disabled visitor.
  2. Add an Essential Companion ticket to your basket.
  3. Upload your supporting documentation when prompted.
  4. Once approved, both tickets download ready for the Show.

Any one of the following confirms eligibility:

  • Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

  • Incapacity Benefit book or ESA confirmation letter

On the day

What we provide on site

Everything to help you get around and enjoy the day comfortably.

Accessible parking

Show your Blue Badge on the windscreen as you enter and our wardens will direct you to the accessible car park.

Wristbands

Free at the Main Entrances — write your contact details and any medical needs inside, so staff can reunite you if you’re separated.

Mobility hire

Pre-book scooters (£35/day) and wheelchairs (£15/day) via Advanced Mobility · 01274 297777.

Assistance dogs

The Show is dog friendly, and assistance dogs are very welcome across the whole site.

Accessible toilets & Mobiloo

Every toilet block has a dedicated accessible toilet, plus a specialised Mobiloo changing facility on site.

Quiet place & picnic area

A calm woodland picnic site to the side of the Showground — somewhere peaceful if the day gets overwhelming.

Getting here & around

Know before you go

The Showground is mainly grass with firmer pedestrian avenues. From the accessible car park, a grass walkway leads to the pedestrian entrance opposite.

  • By bus: the Bluestar 6 runs hourly from Southampton via Millbrook, Redbridge and Totton to Lymington.
  • Plan public transport with My Journey Hampshire (note: it doesn’t include the Show-day shuttle from Brockenhurst).
