What’s Blooming at the Flower and Garden Show 2025
If you’re a passionate gardener, plant collector, or just love seeing beautiful spaces brought to life, the Flower and Garden Show at this year’s New Forest & Hampshire County Show has plenty to inspire.
We caught up with Annette, Chair of the Flower and Garden Show, to hear more about what’s new in 2025 – and what not to miss.
Award-Winning Exhibitors
Inside the Flower & Gardening Show, you’ll find an impressive range of local and specialist nurseries, including:
- Macpenny’s and Hampshire Carnivorous Plants – both highly respected and multi-award-winning exhibitors
- Curious Cacti – our youngest and newest exhibitor
- Jacques Amand International – Chelsea Gold Medal winners, displaying their stunning cut flowers
It’s a vibrant mix of colour and knowledge, all under one roof!
Learn and Grow
The marquee will also feature interactive educational activities for all ages. Sponsored by Baines Stiller Garden Design, these include:
- A garden design zone, where you can learn how to draw your own plan
- Understanding deer-resistant planting – a key concern for many local gardeners
It’s a great place to get stuck in, learn something new, and take away ideas for your own space.

Elegant Entrances and Local Talent
Back for 2025 is the popular Elegant Entrances category – celebrating small space garden design by showcasing the creativity of talented local designers from across the New Forest.
Music in the Marquee
This year, for the first time, the Flower and Garden Show will feature lunchtime music slots. Local musicians will perform from 12.30 to 13.30 each day.
Meet the Growers at the Plant Fair
The Plant Fair gives visitors the chance to browse and buy direct from independent nurseries, including:
- Leesa’s Alpines and Peake Perennials – run by Leesa and Helen, two dedicated and passionate growers
- Bramley Plants from the Isle of Wight
- Barrow Hill Nursery from Cadnam – specialists in trees and woody plants
It’s a fantastic opportunity to take home something beautiful and support small, expert growers.

Show Gardens with a Message
There will be three show gardens on display this year, including a special NHS Incredible Edible Garden, which focuses on the growing awareness of the link between gardening, healthy eating, and wellbeing.
