There are some exciting new changes and additions to the Show for 2018 which are listed below. We hope the new additions will help to make your time at the Show all the more enjoyable.
For 2018 we have extended our opening hours.
The showground will be open for all visitors and members between 8.00am and 6.30pm.
Working in collaboration with the New Forest Business Partnership, the new Local Business Village will give local businesses from across Hampshire and Dorset the opportunity to showcase their products and services to visitors to the New Forest Show!
The Local Business Village will be located on 7th Avenue.
The new addition to the Local Produce Market will provide visitors with a fun education tour on the art of Flour Milling and making bakery products including a demonstration on Specialty Breads for the Dinner Table.
Visitors will be encouraged to put an apron on and join in with 3 practical ‘Have a Go at Baking’ sessions each day.
The Countryside Area continues to be an extremely popular area of the showground. The area has had a makeover for 2018, creating even more opportunities for visitors to learn about and get involved with Country Pursuits.
Atkinson Action Horses have spent the past twenty years training horses and riders for Film & TV.
With recent credits from Poldark, Victoria, Peaky Blinders and The Living and the Dead, visitors to the New Forest Show will have the unique opportunity to watch their action packed performance each day.find out more
Join the Old Time Farming Section in celebrating 60 years of Massey Ferguson which will feature a special display within the Section highlighting this wonderful tractor, from the merger of Massey Harris Ferguson in 1958 to the present day.find out more
Flyball is a competitive team sport which is run on a knockout basis. It first became popular as a sport in America and made its debut in the UK at Crufts in 1990. Flyball is a fun and energetic sport, watch dogs in action at the Show in the Gray Horsebox Manufacturers Ltd Show Ring and North Ring.
Local Flyball Team the Hampshire Harriers will be entertaining visitors each day.

The Traditional Bakery Show provides visitors with a fun education tour for all ages including Flour Milling and the making of Bakery Products.

Sessions will be taking place at 11am, 1pm & 3pm each day!
A fantastic addition to the Countryside Area this year is the brand new Gun Dog Scurry.
Visitors to the Show will have the opportunity to bring their four legged friends to the countryside area to compete against the clock to complete the gun dog scurry. The over the bales style course will require dogs to jump over several hay bales and ultimately retrieve a dummy. This fun competition will be running throughout all three days of the Show and encourages all breeds of dogs to come along and take part.
The Gun Dog Scurry will be hosted by Lains Shooting School.
Howard runs Lains Shooting School and Mullenscote Dog Training Centre with his partner Linsey Whitley. They Specialise in Training Handlers to understand and train their dogs. Howard has trained and successful trialled and Shot over Retrievers, HPR’s and Spaniels. He has twice been part of a highly successful Great Britain team that competed in the World Championships. He won the 2014 Kennel Club British HPR Championships and came Second with the same Dog last year. Linsey Whitley was also part of the 2017 Great Britain Team that travelled to Compete in France. Along with her German Long Haired Pointer Questor Llewelyn she came third in The World Championships and in the same week secured another fantastic third place in the Mediterranean Cup.
