Meet Luke Matthews from Chewton Glen

Luke will be in the Local Produce Demo Kitchen over the Show

Luke Matthews joined Chewton Glen’s kitchen in 1993 as a Sous Chef and subsequently rose through the ranks to be appointed as Executive Chef in 2003. Luke has since won a number of awards and accolades for his culinary creations, and champions fresh local and British suppliers as much as possible in his menus – he is delighted to share his exemplary epicurean skills at the New Forest Show this year. Chewton Glen, the English Original Country House, offers an array of culinary delights under Luke’s management, from fabulous Afternoon Tea and exceptional a la carte cuisine in The Dining Room, to a more laid back, contemporary dining experience in James Martin’s The Kitchen – there’s certainly something to suit all tastes.
