New Forest Show welcomes 530 children to annual Schools Day event

June 2019 The New Forest Agricultural Show Society, organisers of the New Forest and Hampshire County Show welcomed 530 school children to the Showground in Brockenhurst for its annual educational Schools Day on Thursday 6th June. Schools Day is an annual event which supports the Society’s charitable remit to ‘promote and encourage the development of agriculture, forestry, equestrianism and horticulture’. 2019 marked the New Forest Agricultural Show Society’s 3rd Schools Day. Since its launch, Schools Day has continued to grow and expand.

Job Vacancy: Groundsmen

The New Forest & Hampshire County Show is an annual event held at the end of July and attracting over 90,000 visitors a year. Visit www.newforestshow.co.uk for more information. The Show is looking to employ two additional groundsman to work with the current team to build the Show from a grass field to the tented village required for the event. The role will run from the 1st June – 5th August with the successful candidate working five days a week.
