The New Forest and Hampshire County Show is less than a week away and this year is already a record with over 370 cattle entries at the Show. The Show is delighted to welcome The National Dexter Cattle Show. Originating in Ireland, the iconic Dexters are one of the smallest cattle breeds in the UK, and their proud owners will be competing in the hopes of becoming the National Champion. The Show will welcome the countries best Dexter exhibitors and.

The New Forest Agricultural Show Society in partnership with The New Forest National Park Authority and with generous support from the Hampshire Forest Partnership would love you to join us here at New Park for our family friendly tree planting event. We will be planting approximately 70 native English Oak Trees (Quercus Robur) which will make a living legacy for generations to come as well as creating new homes for our wonderful wildlife. There are three different bookable time slots.

Luke will be in the Local Produce Demo Kitchen over the Show Luke Matthews joined Chewton Glen’s kitchen in 1993 as a Sous Chef and subsequently rose through the ranks to be appointed as Executive Chef in 2003. Luke has since won a number of awards and accolades for his culinary creations, and champions fresh local and British suppliers as much as possible in his menus - he is delighted to share his exemplary epicurean skills at the New Forest.
