Entries open for New Forest Show Open Art Competition
-Art competitions at the 2019 New Forest and Hampshire County Show have been confirmed as open classes. Entries will be accepted from anyone including artists from outside of Hampshire. The 2019 New Forest Show is taking place on 30th, 31st July & 1st August at New Park, Brockenhurst. The Art Schedule can be downloaded now from the New Forest Show Website: www.newforestshow.co.uk.
For the first time, artists both amateur and professional are invited to exhibit and sell their work in the Art Tent at the New Forest and Hampshire County Show which attracts on average 91,000 people across its duration. A maximum of three 2D works and six 3D works are welcome per artist.
Local artists will be demonstrating a number of arts and crafts throughout the Show.
Visitors to the Art Tent will be given the opportunity to vote in the People’s award. The piece of art or exhibit receiving the most votes will win. One lucky voter will receive a bundle of art goods kindly provided by Great Art worth £100.
Tickets for the 2019 New Forest and Hampshire County Show are available to purchase online via the New Forest Show website. All tickets purchased online before 23rd July will receive a 15% discount.
