Child Ticket Sales to be donated to Bursary
Child ticket sales to support the Samantha and Florence Bailey Bursary.
The New Forest and Hampshire County Show is proud to announce, all proceeds from child ticket sales will be donated to the Samantha and Florence Bailey Bursary. The bursary was set-up in memory of Samantha Bailey who had been involved with the New Forest Show for many years including being chairman of the Cattle Section.
Sam was a young farmer and estate agent living in Tiptoe, Sway. Following in the footsteps of her grandparents and mother she led a wonderful life breeding and showing the Sandlea herd of Charolais cattle.
At just 34 years of age Sam tragically fell ill on 16th January 2018 and died eight days after losing their daughter Florence late in the pregnancy. The New Forest Agricultural Show Society have set up a bursary in their memory.
All children aged 5-15 can enter the New Forest Show in 2019 for just £1 and all proceeds will be donated to the bursary.
