MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Become a Member of the New Forest Agricultural Show Society
Purchasing Membership is so much more than acquiring tickets to the Show.  It is in fact Membership of a Charity (No 100425).  Our Charitable aims and objectives are to support agriculture, forestry, equestrianism and horticulture.  One way in which we carry this out is to stage the New Forest and Hampshire County Show each year to demonstrate the best of these.
Member’s fees are used to support all the Charity’s activities, not just the Show.  The tickets for the Show are one benefit of being a Member of the Charity.  The following provides more information:

• Entrance to the Show on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
• Free car parking in the Member’s car park
• Admission to the Member’s Enclosure, Member’s Lawn and use of the Rhinefield Restaurant
• Free unreserved seats in the Member’s Ringside Grandstand
• Separate entrance to the Showground
• Reduced entry fees in the equine, cattle and sheep classes at the Show
Further, throughout the year Members receive:
• Pre-Show Member’s Information
• Right to attend and vote at the Society’s Annual General Meeting
• Invitation to attend the President’s Dinner
• Regular newsletters with important updates and general information

Categories of Membership

Other than Corporate Members the badges are for each of the three days of the Show.


Member: Member badge, Guest badge and a Member’s car park pass.
Fellow: Fellow badge, two Guest badges and a Member’s car park pass.
Family: Member’s badge, Guest badge, two Associate badges and a Member’s car park pass.
Associate: Associate Badge.  An Associate Member must be aged between 5 years old and under 16 years old on the first day of the Annual Show
Corporate: Ten Member any one day badges (no Guest badges) and five Member’s car park passes.
Life: Life Member badge, Guest badge and a Member’s car park passfor the duration of the life of the Member.  Life Members must be over 16 years old on the first day of the Show.

Additional Badges: Members are able to buy additional any one day Guest Badges and/or Junior Guest Badges for each day of the Show (maximum 3 of each).  These can only be bought after 31st October for the next Show.

Methods of Payment

• DIRECT DEBIT
Subscriptions are renewed automatically each year in October so there is no need to write and post cheques. 
New Direct Debits can be processed throughout the year.  However, the last date for applications for payment by Direct Debit by a new member is 31st May for the coming July Show.  Most importantly, you remain in control and can cancel the Direct Debit instruction whenever you wish.
• BY CHEQUE
Remember the discount available on subscriptions paid before 31st October for the following year’s Show.  Cheques should be made payable to “New Forest Agricultural Show Society”.
• CREDIT CARD
Please ‘phone the Credit Card hotline at the Show Office: 01590 622409.  A booking fee of 75p will be charged unless paid by Debit Card.

Important Information – please read

The Society’s Memorandum and Articles of Association may be viewed at The Show Office, New Park, Brockenhurst by prior appointment subject to a minimum of two week’s notice.

“Membership represents being a member of the New Forest Agricultural Show Society Ltd whose Registered Charity number is 1004255 and admittance to the Show is one of the benefits.  In the event of cancellation of the Show on any day or any other eventualities refund of membership subscriptions will not be made”
