Samantha and Florence Bailey Bursary - New Forest Show

Applications are now open for the Samantha and Florence Bailey Bursary.

The New Forest Agricultural Show Society set up a bursary in memory of Samantha and Florence Bailey with the aim of supporting young people in agricultural education. The project has two aims:
• Fund students attending agricultural college, allowing them to begin a career in agriculture
• Pay for applicants to attend short courses, that will benefit their career in agriculture

Sam was a young farmer and estate agent living in Tiptoe, Sway. Following in the footsteps of her grandparents and mother she led a wonderful life breeding and showing the Sandlea herd of Charolais cattle.

At just 34 years of age Sam tragically fell ill on 16th January 2018 and died eight days after losing their daughter Florence late in the pregnancy.
