Recently I given funding to Hampshire Constabulary Country Watch for the following four crime prevention initiatives, which have been recognised as best practice in rural crime prevention: The purchase of thermal imaging machines to enable effective and efficient policing by helping officers in remote rural areas to identify offenders at night. A Dot Peen Property Marking Machine will allow the Country Watch officers to systematically visit repeat victims of burglary/.

New Forest Show welcomes 530 children to annual Schools Day event

June 2019 The New Forest Agricultural Show Society, organisers of the New Forest and Hampshire County Show welcomed 530 school children to the Showground in Brockenhurst for its annual educational Schools Day on Thursday 6th June. Schools Day is an annual event which supports the Society’s charitable remit to ‘promote and encourage the development of agriculture, forestry, equestrianism and horticulture’. 2019 marked the New Forest Agricultural Show Society’s 3rd Schools Day. Since its launch, Schools Day has continued to grow and expand.
