The New Forest Show has been a feature of Hampshire’s events calendar for more than 100 years, having only been prevented from taking place in the past by a World War. This highlights more than ever how unprecedented the effects of COVID-19 are not just on the New Forest Show but on the New Forest as a whole.

We know what an important role the Show plays for so many people up and down the country, from the volunteers, exhibitors and performers to our loyal visitors who come to meet with friends and family every year. This is a community event where we get together and to celebrate everything that’s great about The New Forest.
The New Forest Show is so much more than a three day event and we must be here for another 100 years. Every year we come together to celebrate the best of The New Forest. We educate visitors on The New Forest, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and Equestrianism through interactive fun activities.
Visitors to the Show enjoy the heavy horse musical drive, the animals, the local produce, the flowers – the Show together, as a community. The New Forest Show is a landmark of the Forest and we must ensure our children and their children have the opportunity to enjoy this amazing cultural event.
